Experience
Candidates should possess extensive experience in pulmonology with demonstrated proficiency in critical care experience, airway management, and ventilator support. Prior hospital experience in inpatient settings is highly desirable, along with familiarity using diagnostic radiology tools such as CT scans for pulmonary evaluation. Experience working within Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments will be advantageous. Knowledge of interventional radiography procedures like catheterization or neurocritical care is a plus. Candidates must have a strong foundation in medical terminology, CPT coding for procedures performed, and proficiency with EMR systems like Epic or similar platforms. Additional desirable skills include familiarity with sleep medicine practices, infectious disease care related to respiratory illnesses, and involvement in clinical trials or research projects related to pulmonology.
